Today i got a flat tire and instead of testing out the run flats i decided to put the spare on! PLEASE note the spare tire DOES not fit on the front! The rim hits the caliber. therefore i had to do a tire rotation plus put the spare on! for $60k+ i would think srt would have realized the spare doesn't fit on the front! just felt this information should know before a time of crisis not discover during a time of crisis!
You should never ever ever put a doughnut spare tire on the steer axles. Ever.

Stinks to hear about the flat. I read a while back about the spare only fitting on the rear wheel. I think I saw the info in the manual that I downloaded or on a forum conversation about including a spare on the SRT's when they had run flats. I like that they included the spare although I agree having to swap the wheels in the event of a flat front tire is a pain.
Yes, the information is in the printed copy of the owners manual, but you would never notice it unless you were really looking for it. It should be highlighted on the front page of the abridged owners manual included with the vehicle.
