SRT Cover

My 2014 SRT will be arriving next week and I wanted any recommendations for an outdoor car cover.

Garage
I have always been afraid of covers and the damage they may cause.

Re: SRT Cover

when I had an outdoor parking, I was forced to use car covers to protect my old car from sandstorms (when gone on long vacations, never used a cover for short term) I always had small scratches because of them, and I never put the cover on a dirty car, the car would always be very clean, and the cover very clean and I would STILL get scratches, unless you have the same conditions as me (strong winds and lots of sand/dust), my advise would be stay away from them

Re: SRT Cover

I've had covers from Cover craft, sold through Car Cover World, and they are really good quality. I had some in "Noah" cloth, which held a good 4 years, and another one in "Evolution" cloth, which is a bit sturdier.

This has been to cover a 4x4 ex-Swiss Army truck, or my Jeep SRT8 but as mentionned by boss.man, only on a clean car and for extended periods, except a few times when we had big storms coming and I was afraid of hail... They have both been parked outside so far, but I have contracted a guy to build a shelter before the end of this year.

The Jeep cover was designed for the specific make and model, and was quite snug. The fabric I've had provides protection against elements and some limited padding, too.
