Re: SRT experience

I thought they did away with the SRT Experience? Regardless, I shot them an email yesterday and they confirmed my VIN for a free day.

...now how do I talk the wife into a vaca in Phoenix?

Re: SRT experience

I just got back from the Phoenix area(Scottsdale). It's a beautiful place to visit and the weather was great, upper 80's with low humidity. Summertime sounds like hell though.

I'm sure 90° in Phoenix is more comfortable than 90° in Michigan. 115° anywhere has got to be awful.

Re: SRT experience

Not to be the bearer of bad news but, if the SRT experience is anything like I've experienced in 2013 at a local track, it is definitely not worth the thousands of dollars spent extra to get to AZ...... Whether you call a vacation or not......

I expect it's a bunch of waiting around and little seat time....I am considering doing the 2 day with dedicated Hellcats with my son...they quoted me $3,600 including $1k credit in lieu of SRT Track Experience.

Much better deal doing the 2 days and using the credit towards it, the SRT experience is weak at best...... I just wouldn't want anyone going to AZ, waste a ton of money in traveling expenses and be disappointed.....

Was told there will be Chargers, Challengers, Vipers and Hellcats. They said a lot of people dont do manuals so you could spend most of the day in the Viper

If you are going to do it, sign up now. The only dates left soon will be in the summer and it could be 115 degrees outside
You only get to drive the 392 SRT's with the included SRT experience. Gotta pony up more cash for the HC. Even more for the Viper. And for the ACR gotta be racing licensed.

Re: SRT experience

According to their site:

Quote:
We have a great program arranged where drivers will have the opportunity to get behind the wheel of a variety of different SRT vehicles. Drivers will experience the SRT 392 Hemi Challenger at the Accident Avoidance Exercise, the SRT 392 Hemi Charger on the Skid Pad, the SRT Hellcat at the Auto-Cross, the SRT Viper GT on the Lead-and-Follow, and the SRT Hellcat on Hot Laps.

and of course

Quote:
*-Based on scheduling, some cars may be substituted for other SRT vehicles.
