Question SRT key/fob badge overlay ?

Hey all,

I saw some users with the SRT badge on their key fobs replacing the original "Jeep" sign. However, that involved actually de-badging the Jeep sign and adding the SRT overlay in it's place.

Does anyone know where I can find an SRT overlay that fits in nicely WITHOUT removing the original Jeep badge ? Something that can be removed later on without damaging the fob or leaving residues.

Thanks !

Re: SRT key/fob badge overlay ?

Why don't you just swap it over?

I did mine without any marks. I keep the Jeep fob in case I ever wanted to put it back.

Easy.

I just took my jeep one out and put it in a drawer. Can easily be out back on if I want with a little glue/tape/whatever.

Oh I see what you mean, but I'd rather not tamper with that and keep it intact.
I'm looking for something like this (concept):

The arch allows the badge to sit on top of "Jeep" without bulging out.

The mockup I did above is inspired by Tom's product. However, his badge is not hollow from inside as the mockup shows, but a flat base. Which means it will bulge out if place above the "Jeep" title.

If it's a bit hollow from the middle part but remain the same all over the edges, it will go on top with no problem. THAT is what I need. If you still can't picture it let me know, I will post another clearer mockup.

His domes are around 1/8" thick. No way he can trim in the middle.

I would say he did a damn good job and anything else is just picky

I see what you are asking for. It wouldn't be any sort of printing company who could do that. That would be a custom fabbed up part. Maybe with a 3D printer with adhesive added afterwards. There's no way to hollow out a domed decal or make just the sides taller. Good luck and let us know if you ever find something like this. It won't be 20 bucks though I know that.
