I've said this before on my last SRT GC and I'll say it again, maybe the designers should drive the vehicles they make. But the white dash stitching reflection in the windshield while driving is really annoying. How they haven't seen this in the years of production behooves me. And don't tell me nobody sees it, it's impossible.
Polarized glasses seems a lot easier but have also heard of people going over them very carefully with a sharpie and being careful to immediately wipe any that gets on the dash itself. Just make sure it matches the dash color!! Idk - I wouldn't try it. Like someone else suggested polarized sunglasses do the trick for me!
I remember when I had my 2012 Overland with black interior, it had that light colored stitching and it was annoying seeing it reflect in the windshield. Over time I noticed it less. I guess the brain got used to seeing it.
But I'm glad on my 2014 Summit with black interior the stitching is black so it doesn't reflect at all. I'm surprised the SRT's still have it.
Yeah, yeah, those thin ones r nifty and have all kinds of uses. Cut one side straight and stick it on the inside forehead area of your moto helmet and you'll never get sweat in your eyes on those wicked hot days at the motocross track.
Those dash mats are super tacky I can't imagine anyone covering up that beautiful Nappa leather handstitched dashboard. I've only had my car three weeks but I haven't noticed any reflection at all
I've never noticed. Maybe it's because I'm always driving my SRT hard and I'm paying attention to other things LOL
I do usually have polarized sunglasses but not all the time but never honestly noticed the reflection
50% on my windshield as well...I sometimes notice the stitching, but my eyes/mind quickly block it out when looking down the road. It has never bothered me...
