started at 4.6 sec to 5.7 sec 0-60!??

I love my SRT but....I'm concerned of the loss of power I got... To be fare I'm not sure if I obtained 4.6 sec with Sean hemifever tune... But I know it was colder liked -10c. Now today I'm get a full sec slower in my 0-60 time and I don't want that. If anything I heard it gets faster with more mileages... Everything is stock nothing added running on 91 Oct and when I run my jeep I have everything off no a/c no nothing. Can someone shed a light to this issue?

I notice the same thing with the change in temperatures. I would routinely get 4.7-4.8 when it was -10 celsius and once it gets over 15 celsisus I am closer to 5.4-5.6. NA loves cold air.

Good to know I'm not the only one. I've read on this forum that a CAI has a couple degrees colder then stock intake so I don't think its justifyable to buy a CAI and gain more engine performance plus CAI make it sound loud !

Re: started at 4.6 sec to 5.7 sec 0-60!??

Hot weather kills the engine, tried to step on it One day at noon ... It was around 48 .
A lot of noise , but slow as F@%$ .

That's why we all need RIPP supercharger

Re: started at 4.6 sec to 5.7 sec 0-60!??

My best is 4.2 with 36 (F) air... After being on the highway for an hour and coming to a newly repaved piece of quiet road in the farms around me....

Just went out to the back roads by some farms tonight and best I did was 4.4 after that just 4.6 4.7 (many times) and finally a 4.5. It intake was at 80 degrees. Not pleased as it wasn't that warm today...

However I am wondering if the tranny TSB flash (I have a '14) changed how it launches.... I wonder if Chrysler toned it down a touch to save them on warrantee work.... It doesn't seem to hit redline like it used to... Even in full track mode or using launch control

I would agree with this. Doing back to back runs of 0-100 have consistently resulted in the first run being 0.5 seconds faster than the second. I think this due to the increase in engine temps after the first run.

What is a sean hemifever tune? Do you have a trinity?

I would run it in the same place every time, plus maybe try it with launch control.

I still need to run mine again. Registered, I have a 5.1 and 5.2 so far. This in the tropics at +35 celcius! With around 2000 miles on the odo.

I'll probably going catch some shit for this but I'll say it anyways. I have the Fastman TB, BWP CAI, BT catch can, full Kooks exhaust with the 1 7/8 and a Trinity for some performance mods. Suspension not being mentioned. From stock to what I have now except for the exhaust note, which is awesome BTW, these mods have not made one bit of difference in my times except for the CAI with the cooler temps. These canned tunes don't do a damn thing and until full tuning is available, you are not getting the full potential of these mods or any benefit at all. I'm a mod guy I love to do things to my cars but really at this point I would stick to the aesthetics if you felt the urge. Best run I had was a 3.9 and all I had was the BWP CAI at the time. I'm starting to think performance wise without full tunes, some of these mods are doing a disservice instead of adding HP and performance. I mean putting a supercharger on and having a slower 0-60 for example, yeah that's tuning issues. So with all that being said, don't be surprised if you spend a bunch of money on performance mods and get little to nothing,or God forbid, negative impacts on performance at this point in time.

I agree with you fully, but I think you misunderstood the op's post. He just got 1 second slower out of nowhere. Or am I misreading something
