RIPP Superchargers is a splendid one to behold
Re: Started the RIPP supercharger install

All fixed - simple stuff, we are sorting out for the production run...

Here is Mike's (the Original Poster) vehicle on the dyno, we figured while it was in the shop and we had Mike's opinion we'd give it a whirl. The interesting thing about his is, it has 5800 miles well past the break of the ECU. First pass out it laid down 554 AWD WHP and backed it up warm with 545AWD WHP - So the 392 has it in it to make the power with 5-6psi on stock manifolds/Cats and exhaust. Unfortunilty since Mike, installed his, we do not have a before DYNO run.

We do have another 2014 with Long Tube Headers and Exhaust we are going to do a before and after on and report.

I would like to know what the simple stuff was. Why was he tearing up belts?

It was a production spacer issue throwing the belt off - we isolated it and fixed it. We are also doing an install right now on another 2014 SRT with the production stuff to avoid this on the field. Mike beat us to the install with the production because we got stuck R&Ding a RHD Wrangler, we lost a week on it as a result Mike found the flaws before we had a chance to shake down the production stuff.

This will not happen on shipped kits.... this was a product of getting ahead of ourselves (which we should have known better).

Fair?

Re: Started the RIPP supercharger install

hmm its nice, can you ripp guys go a bit deeper into the tune side ?

did you guys do a full custom tune to suit the ripps or how did that tuning side play out ??

be nice to see mine as i have the headers and exhaust done if it would gain a bit more.

Re: Started the RIPP supercharger install

Looking forward to seeing some run times!

Q for the Ripp guys, esp Given a few of us are in Aust with RHD versions and it will be hard to us to send the JGC into Ripp to check out probs
- Did you get the pics I sent?
- Is the layout any different?
- Do you need any more info?

The other option (if it is too uncertain) is to wait for a local mob to make up a kit.

Thanks
Nathan

Re: Started the RIPP supercharger install

As far as I can see.. the LHD and RHD engine bay should be similar, with the engine, transmission and other parts sitting in the exact same location, except for the brake booster (which ours will be on the RHD). So, install should not be a problem.

543whp coming from a bone stock SRT is crazy man.. Well done Mike and enjoy your new power man.
