Re: steering wheel vibration - TSB 6-11-14

I couldn't get in this week but I did look on WK2jeeps and the sales codes are all for limited and overland 20inch tires SRT has different codes. So this may not apply. ???

Re: steering wheel vibration - TSB 6-11-14

I have an appt in the 26th for the brake booster. I'm gonna try and get them to do the tsb. I have srt replicas on with 295/45/20s. I don't know how successful i will be, but it's worth a shot!!!

Re: steering wheel vibration - TSB 6-11-14

Same for me! You know how many times I've had the wheels balanced because of this and now there is a tsb and I have my different wheels on. I'll see if my dealer still allows it for me. I'm calling Monday to see

Yes. I have SRT reps. I would like to know before going to the dealer for TB. Dealer has call me come in but I don't want to risk it

I don't think it applies to SRT ... Wheel codes are different... But maybe if they see the tsb, maybe they will do something

I'm willing to pay for it myself honestly... We shall see. I think the part is almost $300 though.

It's actually $95 per wheel so $190 for both front hubs and bearings. My cousin owns a shop and he already has them for me. If I can't get the dealer to do it I will do it at my cousin's shop. IMO I should be able to do it at the dealer. Even tough I have different wheels on, the TSB is for a hub and bearings, not the wheel itself. I don't see a reason why the dealer can't do it!!!

That's great to hear, glad I was misinformed. I was searching the part number from the tsb.

Edit: are you sure? And what would labor time look like... (See below)

Re: steering wheel vibration - TSB 6-11-14

$95 is HIS price. I guess it pays to have a mechanic in the family!!! Lol. I'll keep you guys posted on what the dealer says.

Re: steering wheel vibration - TSB 6-11-14

Got the brake booster recall done. Service manager said he will do the hub and bearing for me next week. Chrysler reps were on site so he couldn't do it at the time. Basically, he will tell chrysler I have stock tires on. He will get paid and I get my hub and bearing for free. I'll confirm when it's done.
