Re: Strut tower Brace

2 questions:
Why did you not go with a full encircled base mount utilizing 3 points of contact vs the 2?
Why did you choose an asymmetrical design vs symmetrical?

Thanks!

Re: Strut tower Brace

To try to get all 3 points of contact would not improve the the strength or integrity of the bar or the vehicle. Because of the way it is laid on the strut tower. Plus on the side with the hood strut it would be nearly impossible since the bracket for the strut hood is there.

The reason for the design not being symmetrical is because of the AC tubing and again the placement of the hood bracket did not allow me to make it symmetrical.

I have had this on my vehicle for 2 years and it is supercharged and I built it to hold the torque. It is still like day one. If you have any further questions please let me know.

Re: Strut tower Brace

I can answer maybe the first question. On the passenger side there is the hood prop mount....so that would've been affected. That's looks to be the case with my fitament anyway. I seriously doubt it would make a difference.
