Re: Sydney DCR Sandwich!

Morning All,

Some great information starting to occur here, really making me look forward to getting mine.
I know have all the tracking number for mine with a new ETA of the 29/1/14, but that is the eta by the tracking and not the dealer, so i actually trust that.

Means I should have mine early Feb, so now its a waiting game.

9.5 per 100 is brilliant, and i was hoping that may happen on our 98 fuel over here.
Anyone willing to comment on what they are like round town like to and from work?

I am expecting high teens to mid 20's??????

Have a great day

Marc

Re: Sydney DCR Sandwich!

At the moment I'm averaging about 16L/100km mainly because of the 300km worth of highway kms I put on it every week in eco mode.

The funny thing is that I have become a better driver because of the car. And I arrive at work less frazzled. I use the nagging reminder when I'm going 10kms above the given speed limit and use the Adaptive Cruise Control to 'leach' off other drivers at a safe distance. Plus because it's bigger than my previous car, people seem less likely to cut you off, tailgate you or just generally be a**holes because they don't want to risk getting run over by a 3 tonne brick. You're gonna love it.

Yep, in between cursing at it and making sure I avoided the traffic it thought I was going to hit. You want it in hi-res jpeg format? lol

I'm around 16-18 per 100. 18 when I'm in stop start traffic and currently on 16.7 after a few trips on the M2.

Re: Sydney DCR Sandwich!

Early days - but with a couple of days of short trips around the burbs and some right foot - it is 25l/100km for me.

I've only filled it up once and with a big tank, 98RON fuel it was $140!

Now - I've also received the Diablo and it has a 95RON tune that I plan to upload into the SRT during Jan so It will be interesting to see if it makes much of a difference.

Re: Sydney DCR Sandwich!

Is that 95ron American or 95 Australian?

I'd reset the fuel usage and see how it goes over a few days/week.

Re: Sydney DCR Sandwich!

I guess it is US - they have a couple of tunes apparently (91 and 95??? but I could be wrong). I won't try them out till Jan as I want to see what it is like with Stock first. I just did my first Launch Control and got 4.9 0-100kmh.

Re: Sydney DCR Sandwich!

...and I confirmed with the dealer that we don't get Traffic Updates or any Apps that work in Oz.
