Who's CHE again mate?

Thanks a lot.
Yes Rob's is quieter because he just has mufflers mine still goes thru the X pipes before getting to mufflers, but then again Rob's got a few years on me Castle Hill Exhaust

Saw Rob on the way to work today driving Miss Daisy....

Re: Sydney SRT Club

I may have a few years physically, but mentally im still 28 lol.

Kris another option is to get electronic cutouts. Same sound as stock when closed, but very very loud when open (especially if you fit them BEFORE the suitcase muffler).

I've had my Borla ATAK for almost a year now and still love it.

Re: Sydney SRT Club

I know Rob

That would be insanely loud lol.... motor, headers, dump pipe ROFL....
i reckon that would be too loud and get annoying in cabin as the exhaust would be coming out near your feet...

Thanks Mate,
I have a special escalated case with Jeep now, where they will pay for a rental car until they fix the problem. Hopefully they will sort it out, but I just need time to book it in.

Hi boys, been a while since I posted. Been playing with other toys and the usual work. I will say though this righteously awesome engine is really starting to bed in after 17500kms. It is so smooth and effortless and the Borla sounds twice as good now then when I first put it on. Wish the gearbox was the same.

Re: Sydney SRT Club

Hi All,

I am just about to put in an order for a MY15 SRT. I will however, put out one last call for any help or information on whether Australia will be seeing the Red Vapor edition.

It's seems crazy that jeep UK has it but there is not a peep on whether it would end up here. The Australian jeep site still lists the MY14 model and details, and it seems all their sites are inconsistent from here to the US to UK to Japan. What is consistent is the frustration I have been reading everywhere about jeep. I'm not a customer yet and already feel annoyed...but the SRT is so sweeeeeet.

Anything anyone can share would be appreciated.

Cheers

Out of curiosity, did you keep your factory exhaust in the event you sell one day in the future and buyer prefers the quieter exhaust?

Pop in to a dealer and ask them to look up on their intranet site to see if RV is coming or not.

Yeah. I did my test drive today and asked if they had a spec sheet for the MY15s they are selling as the website refers to the MY14. No dice. He said there was no news on the RV. FCA sure do make it hard for themselves and dealers.

I even reached out to senior management at FCA. They said they would get back to me which gave hope, but after a couple of follow ups that has also gone quiet.

Such a good product, great ads...poor info sharing globally and the website is showing old vehicles. They have a way to go.

Thanks.

Re: Sydney SRT Club

Yerrrp, get used to that FCA hopelessness. Which dealer are you buying from?
