That article you linked to did say some were having to be dealt with here.

Re: Sydney SRT Club

Hi,

I do to know much about how cars get stored on a ship, and I hate assuming...but I kinda thought that if something is affected on the ship then the whole ship's contents need to be treated. Unless there are in different holds and/or the cars are in sealed containers. Then again, when they all get unloaded at Port Kembla and are near each other, wouldn't that whole site be seen as contaminated?

I guess my frustration grew as a mate's new Audi was on the same ship and he got his car yesterday. I just got "it might be 4 more weeks but we'll see what we can do".

Re: Sydney SRT Club

The cars are not in containers, they are parked on multiple levels throughout the ship. So yes, if a car has a problem, there's a good chance lots of cars will have the same problem.

Even with that scenario, your car should be ready by now.

Re: Sydney SRT Club

After a seemingly endless wait I have finally taken delivery of my SRT...and after an afternoon of driving I can only simply say wow...what a vehicle no smell, not many issues...some annoying little issues, but as they say in the classics, nothing is perfect.

Happy to finally be in the club...somewhat annoyingly after not seeing more than one SRT in my area I bumped into a white SRT like mine today...very samsey...but all good.

Re: Sydney SRT Club

Sounds awesome. Some of those film sequences look like they were shot at the back of Bankstown airport.

Where are these guys located and do they do a system for the 5.7L?

You are spot on. That's where we did it. They have a huge complex in Milperra but agent's everywhere including the US.

I'm not sure but you could contact them and I'm sure they'd develop one if it doesn't exist already.

Feel free to PM me and I'll get you their details.

Re: Sydney SRT Club

Had my 2014 srt 30 k service today @ chatswood dealer, was told my front brake pads have to be replaced (2mm left) quote from dealer $1500 was also told front discs also have to replaced at same time as pads quoted $1800.

Sounds like bs to me.

Has anyone been told need to change discs at same as pads??

Does anyone know what I should be paying for a pair of front brembo pads.?

Cheers
