Re: Sydney SRT Club

Whilst i'm not here to defend Castle Hill, the GM did help me greatly with my car. In return I have since assisted them in selling two more SRT's to members here. I am happy to help other members get a car if they need it but pricing is not up to me. Most people know I got a great deal, but it's true that those deals no longer exist. Just remember the RRP for these cars with HK Audio and Pano Roof is $90k+ on the road. If you get one for considerably less your doing well. I think the only ones who paid RRP are those that were first to buy them when no deals were around at all.

Aside from that are any dealers really better than any others?

Re: Sydney SRT Club

I've got to say yes. We buy on average 4 vehicles a year and this was by far the worst buying experience so far. In saying that, no other cjd dealer gave me the confidence to place an order, it just fell apart after that point.

I'm not one to publicly air my greavences but it's still a sore point and feel you guys should know about it.

Hi just an update for you guys, so i was getting tunes done from diablo via johan back and forth and really nothing great.
consistent problem was the feeling and sound of a slipping clutch/and gear changes.

After the tune and it reading a higher low down rev range kw, i would expect a better 0-60 time.
i did about 5 runs last nite temp 20deg same road as i do. best i got out was a 4.9 with the launch wound up to approx 3200 rpm. after driving the car a couple of days the slipping clutch is more noticeable than before.

I have reloaded the stock tune again as its given me the best results and doesn't have the clutch issue at all.

As dale explained to me very clearly , the tuning is not an open book as yet and they can only adjust a limited amount of parameters.

Its like trying to make a supreme pizza with 2 toppings basically.

Dale has more access coming in a few weeks so when that arrives we will have a second look.

hope i explained it with out jumping on toes

Re: Sydney SRT Club

Thanks for the update mate!

Be great when we get some proper software that allows everything to be adjusted.
Anyway, look forward to catching up again soon for a drink or a cruise or something.

I just need to wait for my car for that though LOL

Have Fun

Marc

You're level 4, you should have a build sheet from Milous.
This will have your VIN.

At the top of the tracking thread there is a link to see what ship you are on.
Then you can track the ship online.
