Re: Sydney SRT Club

Hi Hammertime,

I've had the system fitted from CHE for over 12 months now and love it.
I constantly get people saying to me how good it sounds.
I have an Alpine and they fit mine with the original black tips so it essentially looks stock until you look underneath.

The new XForce system is on the way and due anytime now. They will be doing both full systems and cat-backs. Im booked in to get a full system as soon as they land.

If you can wait a couple of weeks, you are more than welcome to hear mine.

Re: Sydney SRT Club

Hope you love it as much as I do.

I had a few warranty issues at first but it's been great since then.

What part of Sydney are you from ?

Cheers,

IAN

Re: Sydney SRT Club

Just two small paint issues but don't really want to repaint boot and rear side door....

I'm in lower north shore. Willoughby to be exact and bounce between that area and Pyrmont and the airport.

Sadly I spend more time in the air and in rental cars for work but things should settle down and I'm planning a few nice drives with the family.

Sydney/Coffs/Sydney in Sept to watch the world rally
Sydney/Cootamundra /Dubbo/Manila/Surfers/Sydney in late September
Sydney/Cooma/Sydney in November

Also working in Melbourne for a week in August so I think I'll drive down for that solo.

I saw a nice white SRT in St Kilda on Fitzroy St yesterday with NSW yellow and black plates. Did a double take but can't recall them now. BK-xx-xx something so high if you are on here.

Cheers,
Pat

Re: Sydney SRT Club

Hi Sydney SRT’s

I have two small paint issues.

One is the size of an ant under the clear on the rear passenger door and the other is a rough section that’s small at the edge of the rear door.

Dealer placed a warranty claim but that means resprays for those panels. What are your thoughts on getting the paint done to a brand new car?

Has anyone else had paintwork corrected?

Re: Sydney SRT Club

Should be no issue getting panel done, if at any time then early on is better before there is any degradation in other panels and it becomes harder to match new with old.

SRT people, there was a user on here somewhere that had an issue with a noise coming from their wheels when he went through a round about not far from his home. He posted a YouTube video of it too. I am struggling to find it and the outcome for another person that has similar issue.
Anyone have an idea where it was posted?

Re: Sydney SRT Club

Hi Pat, I am also with Snuke and Rob in relation to your paint issue! Sooner rather than later!

Now sorry to intrude on your post, but I also need HELP :-(

I stupidly tried to put Octane Booster in my first tank fill up which has spilled all down the left rear fender, discolouring ( YELLOW ) my brand new white paint work :-( I have tried to polish it off without success, does anyone have any other ideas or am I ruined?

Cheers

Re: Sydney SRT Club

Why did you add octane booster Chris??

You might have to do a light polish to remove the stain?

I am heading to Care Car Products in Five Dock tomorrow as I believe they may have a product for an idiot like me

Re: Sydney SRT Club

Might of been better trying to find a United servo that sells 100 octane fuel lol.

Is that the mob that put on classes regarding how to wash/polish your car properly? I recall hearing about them on the Ford forum I used to frequent.
