Thanks for the info. I currently have a Wrangler and looking for a bit more luxury so looked at the GC. Wanted something with a bit of get up and go so thought about the V8. Remembered the smile I used to get on my face in my WRX so thought about the SRT. Seems like the best of both worlds.

Its a pain in the butt about the test drives. Will have to try a different dealer as I think it's a bit ridiculous not having one on the weekend.

Re: Sydney SRT Club

I had to wait 3 months for a test drive of the SRT. The dealer called me up when they got one of the JeepAU press thrashers. It was worth the wait, as they are one AWESOME drives.
I do not regret for a second my decision to trade in the CRD Overland and get the SRT.
Funny thing is, the SRT is only 5l/100km worse for economy than the CRD.

I was very lucky with my dealer he gave me his boss car who owns the dealership , he just gave me the keys and told me be back in a hour so me and the missus jumped in and thrashed the shit out of it , did the launch control 3 times and couldn't wipe the smile of my face my missus was screaming at me to slow down haha . Love the SRT since hehe

They usually dont test drive performance cars on the weekend to stop the tyre kickers and joy riders.

Hmmm, that doesn't help. I am going to need to take time off work to test drive it.

Thanks.

Do you know if they have them on a weekend? Worst case I might be able to test drive one on the way home from work I guess.

Yeah, the traffics still pretty crap that's why I wanted to test drive on a weekend. It was Tynan that said they don't have an SRT on the weekend so I might see what Rosebery say. As I said, worst case I guess a drive in traffic is better than nothing (considering it is likely to spend more than half it's life in peak hour traffic).

Re: Sydney SRT Club

Traffic on a Sat Morning can be nearly as bad as peak hour.
