DD as for mud flaps, in almost a year of ownership I have never thought I need them, even with all this recent rain. I see your also in the Hills, did you buy from Castle Hill?
Hi DCR, I do a little bit of driving in crappy conditions on the weekends... Mainly dragging my boat on a dirt road and through cow pads from the boat shed to the boat ramp. And I've always had mud flaps on all my cars to avoid gravel rash on the sills and lower rear quarters. I am originally a country boy though, so the roads where I grew up weren't great so that was a contributor, and I still like my country driving so I'd rather not chip the Billet Silver unnecessarily.

On the dealer, well...
I too found a nice young sales rep at CH who was really keen to get my business, however, he said his hands were tied when it come to negotiating a good deal. The same thing happened to me at Power when I was shopping for my Turbo Ghia Territory. No discount . So I don't know whether it's a complacency thing up here or whether these were two coincidental and exceptional experiences. Anyway, be screwed if I was going to pay at least 5k more than I knew I could get elsewhere.
As it panned out, I was fortunate enough to get a great deal in both cases thanks to some business contacts who looked after me. Mind you that did not help with the delivery time on the SRT. On that, I can only speculate as to what is going on behind closed doors with the supply chain of these things into Aus. There seems to be a massive difference between a good price with a wait, or paying a premium for something in stock or supplied quickly. That's fine, it's business, but, the long wait is painful.

Have you thought of putting stone guard on it? It's expensive but tough as...
I can supply and fit if you go down that path, my factory located in seven hills

There was some stuff on home made ones etc. Has anyone come up with a nice solution?
You made it brother. Good to see you on here. We should mix it up a bit and start talking about mustangs.

On the price, I've been sworn to secrecy mate. But let's just say I'm very happy with the deal.

Re: Sydney SRT Club

You have exactly the same options and colour as mine.
The Silver does not seem to be a very common colour, but looks great.
Welcome to the Club.
