Re: Sydney SRT Club

Can anyone tell me if soneone in Sydney can do ECU tuning forthe SRT8's? Thanks

Felixx, would love to know what your fuel consumption is like with the X-force system if possible? thanks

Hey bud, quick one about the xforce.
Sounds fantastic. Confirming that there are no cut outs with xforce like the GT Haus?

Re: Sydney SRT Club

Given Launch mode is Track mode I thought the times would be closer. I guess launch mode is holding back some power to reduce wheel slip.

Nice 60ft time in track mode. I'll have to give that a go next time and see if I'm in the 1.8's.

2nd run - Launch mode 13.397@164.46 - 1.965 60ft - r/t .321
3rd run - Sport mode 13.451@163.56 - 1.915 60ft - r/t .303

Ambient temp was around 23c-25c.

Pretty happy with my 13.1 but being my first time racing i'm sure I did a few things wrong. 12's should be no problem once I learn to launch properly

Awesome to meet S513bt, ENFORCER & kilad4n. 4 SRT's certainly got some folks talking

Re: Sydney SRT Club

Drove from Sydney to Gold Coast today. Sat on 120 most of the way. Averaged 11.7lt /100 which I was impressed. Very different compared to the 20lt/100 I normally do.

Re: Sydney SRT Club

I just got back on Tuesday At one stage I was stuck behind a truck that couldn't do more than 70kph. Managed to see 9.8lt /100

Had one or two early dinners on the beach with the kids at the Spit (end of the Sea World road then turn left and head back down the beach.

Find a nice sandy spot then put in in Track mode and watch the rooster tails

Was a little worried I'd get stuck every now and again but just flicked back to auto and drove out of the sand. OK for a quick play but I wouldn't really want to be off road on soft sand in the middle of nowhere.

Sydney SRT Club

I'm going back to my usual 33 PSI after running 36 after getting 2 nails pulled out to the run flats. Too hard for daily driving and Sydney's roads. Im pretty sure that's what the recommended pressure is.

I'm no expert. Is 33 too low? That may not be good for your tyre walls. That's why I'm in the low 40s.
Max for our tyres are 52 I think
