Haha I used to do 36 in my 18' 255/45 these are 20/285/45 with a max of 52 so I think 40s is in the pocket nicely. I once went to an advanced driving course and mark skaife told us higher pressure is better than lower. But I'm not pushing anything here, just discussing

Maybe on the track but on the street your back and kidneys would take a beatin'. You'd have to see a chiropractor every week. I'd hate to be the one that drank a litre of water with no toilet along the way. LOL

I'm pretty sure 33 is what Jeep recommends. But hey, different strokes for different folks.

Re: Sydney SRT Club

Anyone with a SRT on order or recently bought, have to pay extra for spider monkeys? My dealer just called and advised that even though my vehicle is price protected since order (Jan), I chose the spider monkeys when they were a no cost option, they are now $1500+taxes, which I have to pay if I still want those wheels with my car.

Have a read of your contract to see if there is a clause relating to this(you indicate the vehicle is price protected).
If not you should enforce your rights. I think the clause would say the dealer can change the total price if there is a change in costs or circumstances , if this is the case you should be able to rescind the contract within three days of notification. (As long as the increase is not solely from statutory price rise).
I did not know about any no cost options for spiders when i bought mine earlier this year, i just optioned up Pano roof, HK stereo and spider monkeys as a package.
Another member with a better knowledge of contracts may know more.
Cheers,
Geoff

Re: Sydney SRT Club

I have had my jeep for 2weeks now, I posted that exact same thing. My dealer told me they took spider monkeys off the system... Then he told me that from any new purchases they where gonna charge $3000. He said I'm very lucky... That I got them wheels cause he thought they had goliaths on them until it came off the boat into the dealership.
