Also Nathan looking at those pics I prefer that color you have, glad you didn't go the black.

So I went for an early run up the old pacific highway this morning, was on it at 8am, and it was great fun in sports suspension mode, manual gears. It had just started to rain so the rear broke loose twice around bends- heaps of fun. A few die hard bikers (motorcyles) were out, and 1 highway cop car, which I was lucky to pass without being pulled up.

Anyway, I notice now my tyres, all 4 of them, have a dirty almost white powder/ash look to them (the tyres not the rims). So I wipe my hand on the tyre and it rubs off, leaving an almost oily grime on my hand but the tyre goes back to black. It's not dirt because it was too wet for them to get dirty like that.

Anyone else notice this on theirs? It's gotta be the brake pad dust surely? I'm running my tyres at 35psi (240).

(BTW- the newly Plasti dip rims survived the speed and water OK)

I think your right, however the rears don't normally get too dirty - but spirited driving may have pushed them.

Is it just me or does that Tyre look like its a 16" or something? lol

Definitely does aDgE. It must be really tight in there with 22's on- there's like 2cm room between the tyres and the weather lining as it is. Guess that's why they go the 305/40's.

Re: Sydney SRT Club

Could not find them anywhere! Ended up getting them direct from a factory in China.

The paint finish on them is pretty rubbish, so a repaint is in order anyway
