Re: The 2012 Grand Cherokee SRT8: New and improved

The bits of remaining info that I currently have is not so much being held back intentionally, some of it is in the process of being verified, I don't like to just throw something out there if I don't have enough proof that it's going to prove accurate.

Re: The 2012 Grand Cherokee SRT8: New and improved

AHHH I CANT TAKE IT!!! I need to know, how wide are these tires? Are they sitting on 9"s all around or 10"s cause I know they're not staggered anymore which is sad Also, what kind of rear is it getting? Uhmmmmm, what size calipers, I know rotors will be the same, but say were getting some nice 6 pistons up front and 4s in the rear? LOL, I could go on forever ORRR Milous can reveal this info and save thousands of lives worldwide lmao

Great for the back, not sure how they will handle on the front, any thoughts? Current model front width is 10.0".

Flowers, JW?? Lost in the mail?

Re: The 2012 Grand Cherokee SRT8: New and improved

More on the WK2 SRT8:

Auto-leveling BI-Zenon headlamps will be Standard (unless the bean counters catch wind of this and put them in an option package at the last minute).

Front passenger seat will go from 4-way to 8-way. Power 4-way lumbar adjust for both driver/passenger. Front seats will have side mounted air bags.

Gross Vehicle Weight Rating will increase from 5650 to 5800 lbs. (same as the 2011 Limited and Overland).

Fuel tank will be 24.6 gal., same as standard WK2 (vs 20.5 and 21.1 on the prior gen).

Guessing they are these tires

Pirelli Scorpion Zero Asimmetrico
http://www.us.pirelli.com/web/catalo...pe=CAR-SUV-VAN

That would make them about an inch larger in diameter than the WK, right?

50 days and counting...............

Only an increase of 150 lbs over previous gen? Nice! Guess all those complaining about weight have a bit less to complain about. 150 more lbs, but 50 more hp? Sounds good to me.

Re: The 2012 Grand Cherokee SRT8: New and improved

You guys are killing me, I am going to be getting one of these when they are released. Everything I didn't like about my 2006 SRT8 GC has been fixed. It is like they did this for me
