I will keep driving my buckets until Ralphie wakes up and puts a real motor and tranny in an extra large bowl of mashed taters...dubbed the Jeep SRT8.

It's a fact, it's slow...its average...and it's expensive. Cmon...admit it you want more power, it's ok...we are all friends here...

The first step is to get past the denial...then it is all downhill. Kinda like how the Jeep gets those sub 5 second 0-60 numbers

You're sounding more and more like a Grey Poupon sniffer with a jar hid in the glove box of your ECONO Rover...hehe! Why dont you spend some more money on that 911 and actually make it run with our SUV's 0-60. Its pretty obvious if you had anything that actually ran, you wouldnt be wasting your time here beating up on Jeep owners.

BTW, why dont you work on that signature a little more. Surely you have more antiques and decade old beaters in the back yard to add to it......

Re: The new Sport SUV Value Leader: The ML550

Just for reference, a buddy has a Wk2 and I have a WK1...we ran at the track together in April. He ran a 12.90 to my 12.80 exactly. They have good power!
On another note, I would love to come upon a 1984 911 CS at a stoplight someday and drop a 4.1 sec 0-60 time in my lame Jeep.

One would expect that a "PREMIUM manufacturer" would have a PREMIUM reliability record, something MB no longer has.

True enough...if I can dish it I need to take my share. The 911 is an easy target on the surface but with a weight of 2300 lbs with me in it and 235 hp...with antique plates and an age of 29 years...math is math on the power to weight ratio.

It does "ok"

Re: The new Sport SUV Value Leader: The ML550

lol damn we have some babies here.
When i see something like that, all i see is someone lighting a fire under the arse of SRT. Which in turn mean the consumer gets a better product.

to add if you build a ML550 with everything the SRT comes with standard you are at 80g.
-Heated rear seats-620
-harman/kardon sound system-810
-KEYLESS-GO-650
-Premium 1 Package- 3,700
80GB hard-drive navigation with Zagat® Survey
10GB Music Register
Gracenote® media database
MP3 Media Interface
SiriusXM Radio with SiriusXM Traffic and Weather
Enhanced Voice Control for audio, telephone and navigation
10-way power driver seat with memory
Power tilt/telescoping steering column
Auto-dimming driver-side and rear view mirrors
Power-folding side mirrors
Double sun visors
115V power outlet in rear seating area
Rear view camera
-Heated steering wheel-225
-20-inch twin 5-spoke wheels- 2,200
-Trailer hitch- 550
-Panorama roof- 1090
-Bi-Xenon headlamps with Adaptive Highbeam Assist-1290
AIRMATIC air suspension/Adaptive Damping System-3500
DISTRONIC PLUS (with PRE-SAFE Brake)/Active Blind Spot Assist-2800
PARKTRONIC- 970

sooo after $21980, you still dont have 6 piston brembos and you look like every other suburban mother taking their child to school.

on the subject of the Range Rover, when the new Sport comes out which is expected to be a 2015 model it will be a beast...in the straight aways.
If you want to compare the SRT to anything, only thing you can compare it to is the 90-150g AMG, M and Turbo. With the new 6.2 SC model and updated interior id say you have the best "entry" level performance SUV in front of you.

If i repeated anything said, sorry i got tried of reading 4th graders cry.
