Congrats on the truck! I absolutely love mine... I synched my iPhone via Bluetooth and the truck picks it up as a device automatically. I can use the phone fxn or stream audio from the iPod app on my phone. The other option is to plug it in to the console via USB; you have more control over tracks but you have to put up with the minor hassel of plugging it in.

I upgraded from a "practical" Nissan Altima, so I'm enjoying the learning curve figuring out the bells and whistles!

Re: Thoughts about the Jeep after delivery

So few things after 2 weeks on the road.

1. The interior is fairly quiet, not a lot of random shaking or plastic creaking like the sheisty WK1.

2. The brake dust is going to be challenging to keep off the front rims.

3. I have a low pitch whirring noise possibly from the transfer case. My WK1 had this same sort of noise but you can only hear it if your listening for it.

4. Sometimes there is a small sputter on acceleration, like the tranny doesnt know which gear to jump into...

5. The RHR doesnt randomly shut off like the RER did in my 2009 SRT8. Its a solid head unit so far. Although I would like to get an extensive manual on it so i can check a few things.

6. 12MPG is real, not great by any means but for city driving it does what is said it was gonna do!

7. Exhaust drone in ECO mode is killing me.

Re: Thoughts about the Jeep after delivery

Thanks for the updates! Keeps us going until ours gets here, ha! Since you have the tow package, can you tell me the size of the wheel and tire of the spare? Does it say anything about not fitting on the front wheels? Also what type/model of tire is it? Thanks!

Re: Thoughts about the Jeep after delivery

I would assume the spare fits all around since the WK2 tires are all the same size... Here is a picture of it.

Re: Thoughts about the Jeep after delivery

Thanks for posting! So it is a temporary tire but bigger than a doughnut. I read on another site that the spare will only fit the back but don't know if its true. Trying to figure out is I get a winter wheel set what would the recommended size be.

The reviewer from Consumer Reports also noted an issue when the SRT went into ECO mode. He thought it was a little rough. Is it really that loud? How would it be on a long trip?

Thanks for the review!
