Re: Tracking as tires wear

When I hit about 20 something thousand miles I noticed it getting a little unnerving with my SRT8 having a mind of its own, wanting to go where it wanted, not where I wanted. Last month I put on Toyo Proxes ST's the older style. Not ST2. I have had years of experience with them.

I love the way they ride. More comfortable ride all way around and 1/2 the price of OEM Pirelli run flats too.

Has anyone else noticed theirs becoming less planted or more sensitive to road imperfections as it gets more miles on it?

BTW, mine's fairly low mileage, ~14,000 on a 2012.

I would rather rule everything else out before I trash $1600 worth of tires that still have at least 10000 miles left in them.
Iíve noticed rutty roads from day one. Like someone else said itís the wide tires. I have 12,000 miles on mine now. Speaking of tires, has anyone put on the pirelli scorpion ice and snow tires?
