From a dealer I would assume $48, which is close to wholesale prices.. you get 52 take it and RUN...

This is a great example of why jeep should not be sell 62k for a srt 8, because you will not get shit for it in a trade its a Jeep. Like the last post if you get over 50k for it take it and run.

Dealer just told me mine is worth $43k at trade in for a 2014. Vehicle is in good shape but has 24k miles on it. I got mine for 57k in January of '12. I'm going to try a different dealer later in the week and see what they say.

When they offer sub 50k, it's the perfect time to say, "wow! I don't want this 2014. I didn't realize how bad they held their value!"

You just saved yourself 1k.

Those are 2012's.
"Below" condition sometimes is attached as a result of excessively high mileage. Also, a little extra w&t usually comes along with those miles.

I would not lay down for a dealer and accept their bullshit trade-in offer of Manheim wholesale value, not on this vehicle. You might not have an option on a Camaro, normal GC, Mustang, Ford Taurus, etc. But a specialty vehicle like this wouldn't hold as much leverage for their side.

First, they aren't going to wholesale your truck most likely. They are going to try and sell it for $53-56k at first and make a good profit. So there goes their initial negotiating ploy that "this is all we can get in return for your vehicle now if we sell it at auction."

Second, if they wanted to buy a Jeep SRT8 at auction to put on their lot to make a good profit the chance of them being able to go to auction and grabbing one real easy isn't going to be as simple as other cars because of the limited production numbers, and even more limited numbers of used available. So there goes their excuse with Manheim numbers of "well, we can't give you more than this number because if we wanted one on our lot we would just pick one up at next auction cheaper."

IMO, your best trade-in value will/should probably come from a Jeep dealer. They'll salivate knowing they have a slightly used SRT Jeep to offer. It's a great selling chip for them to offer to that person who doesn't quite want to spend the bucks on a new one, or is looking for something slightly more than a new Overland GC. They'll push them towards the used SRT8 where the numbers will look better to the buyer for what they are getting, but will have a nice fat profit intact for the dealer. I know whenever I take the 2010 to my Jeep dealer they salivate over the thing, each time a sales person asks if it is being traded in or if I would like to trade it. The night we showed up to pick up my 2012, I swear there were 3 sales people standing in the showroom like starving Wolves who asked smiling; "you trading that in for the 2012?" It was as if they were all going to sprint to their telephones to call prospective buyers if I said yes.
