Anyone know a good merchant for these in addition to Blinders? They're still legal here in GA But that would have saved me. Other than that It's going to be a FAST year
Congrats. Sorry about the ticket though.

We came a mutual agreement. I got them down further
and they raised there offer on my summit to get close to a break even point.

Speaking to the finance dept tomorrow morning and then going to the dealer for a test drive if the weather gets better. We've had a lot of Snow & Ice for the past three days.
Good luck.

Write them a check for the amount you want to spend, but don't sign it.
Wave it at them, while holding a flame near the edge.
Offer to sign it if they agree to your price.

Not that a lousy $500 is worth losing what seems to be a pretty good deal...

Ahh, part of the culture. Offer the trooper a chance to light it up and you might make a friend--but you still wouldn't beat the ticket.

If the thought is in your head after only a few weeks; you've already made your decision. I say go for it and don't look back.

Having had an obnoxious number of cars and also having gone through this type of scenario many a time the best advice I can offer is to do what'll make you happy.

Pretty sure if you "stay put" - every time you see one of us driving by, you'll be kicking yourself.

I wish i came across this thread earlier. I went through the same exact situation 2 months ago. I bought the summit the traded it for the srt. I hope you went through with this. I paid 51 for my summit and they gave me 47 with 6000 miles on it. I picked up the fully loaded srt for 61 with 2000 miles on it. i took a bath on the summit and have not looked back. It also helps that my wife has a summit so i am reminded why i did it every time floor her accelerator.

You didn't answer my Aussie mate's (DCRSRT) question? Why did you buy the Summit in the first place?

Then you say you have a 2007 SRT8 Charger. I don't get it, you should have known better...

Funny you mention this. Bought my first GCSRT back in 2010. Walked in to the dealer, gave them a deposit to order it (none on lot) and my "test drive" was my ride home after signing the paperwork. Pretty sure I wasn't going to say, "you know what - I thought it'd be a little faster".

Best part is I'd only done research on the net prior to handing over cash.

With my new one - did almost the exact same thing. Looked at it and said where do I sign? No test drive required.

You only live once!

Which is the exact reason I bought it. You can't put a trailer hitch on your hearse. So I'm very happy things played out the way they did.
