Re: transam's Jeep GC SRT8 Initial Impressions...

Nice Job Transam.
Great job with the photos.
Hopefully you'll hit that 500 mark soon so we can do a video and photo shoot of WK v WK2.
You paid what I think the Jeep is worth.
I'm glad to hear the Audio was equivalent to the 300 we tested at the Tour. I'm in love with the HK audio system. My pant leg was doing the same thing when we tested it.
The dealer in my experience and a couple others at this point, has been on top of their game. No shenanigans and full understanding of how to operate the ordering system. LOL. Apparently, some dealers havn't figured that part out.

Transam...Are you going to Bed your brakes? I'm thinking with the huge rotors, 6 pistons and a previous history, that it would be smart to do. I did a partial bedding and I really can't complain about brake squeal. The only time it happens for the most part is in reverse. So I'm not real concerned.

Congrats again on your new Jeep and great job on the photo slide show.

Thank you!

Re: transam's Jeep GC SRT8 Initial Impressions...

Sweet man! Looks awesome, I am envious you lucky dog you!

Anyway, I know its early as you said and you cant really comment on any performance aspects of the vehicle yet but what do you think about the huge brakes???

Should be a pretty obvious difference compared to smaller brembos but Ill wait till you bed them in if at all and then get a few stomps on them.
Also would love to hear about the selec track system and how noticeable and effective the changes are for each different aspects (ie shifts, body roll/dive, engine responsiveness and those good things

Look forward to some future commentary, again congrats on an awesome purchase!

Thanks again.
I will bed them in after this rain ends! I hope to get through break-in by the end of this upcoming weekend?

Can't wait to see one on person. They look tiny in pictures. I think the meaner shape will show more in person.

It does look more purposeful in person.
Someone at work who parks next to me said that he noticed that it wasn't your usual JEEP GC. He wondered where it came from, as it looked so unlike a stock vehicle to him. Take that for what it's worth?

Thanks for the feedback. Glad to hear it went smoothly. Keep reminding my salesman and he said not to worry about it, it is all documented.

Enjoy your vehicle!

Re: transam's Jeep GC SRT8 Initial Impressions...

With the price protection, do I need to take in the paper that Milous posted? Or should my dealership have that somewhere?

Also the Jeep looks great! Now I'm even more excited about mine coming in!!
