Mainly. Where do I find accurate invoice numbers. I tried purchasing a white 2014 Srt jeep today. I have a copy of the window sticker and msrp is 71,905.00. Window sticker price options
The options are the Laguna leather beige seats(1,495.00)
Hk system(1,995.00)
Sunroof(2,095.00)
Full size spare(150)
Spider wheels(795)

This truck is optioned exactly how I want it and has the all season tires good for my soon to be nyc dd.

Anyway. What is invoice on this vehicle?
They first said price is 68,900. I got them to 68k even but I was at 65k. I am a cash + trade in buyer. They gave me an ok offer on my trade in. Manager said invoice is 68k and he can't go lower especially since I'm a cash buyer. I have seen similar optioned trucks on auto trader and cars.com going for around my offer and some even less. That's before trying to get them down on price. I felt my 65k offer on a 2014 was in the ball park. I feel their 68k bottom price is way high on a left over. Anyway I walked on the deal but now I may have to travel a bit further to find one at my price.

In summary. Is invoice on this truck 68k or was I feed horse poop. Thanks in advance. Hoping to join the gang soon with this beast!

I think you are being reasonable. I have a '15 srt optioned the same as your '14 spec that I factory ordered in September - just as the 15s were being released. I paid $70k even cash/trade. The '15 contains some enhancements over the '14.

It's debatable whether those enhancements alone are worth the $2k difference but when u combine the enhancements with the fact that the '14 leftover already comes with a year depreciation since it's a '14 MY, I would spend the $2k difference and get a new '15.

I would try to push them closer to your number.

I just traded my '14 Overland for an WK2 SRT. My purchase price was 63k + TTL. So based on the value from truecar.com I got mine for about 5% under invoice.

This is the 3rd Jeep I've bought from this dealership and it had been sitting on their lot for quite some time, so I think they were eager to make a deal on it.

- Panoramic Sunroof
- Split 5-Spoke Wheels

No spare or high performance audio on mine though.

Thanks for that link to invoice prices hound! The manager did bring out a sheet saying this was the invoice price which was 68k but I glanced quick at it because I was already in walk mode. So maybe push for a 15' for 67-68 then. I initially was going to buy used but decided on left over 2014's. Already pushing past what I intended to spend but I figured try for left over 2014's.

Theblack1 I only tried westbury dodge. Star doesn't have left over 2014's . I'm in queens, ozone park area. I'd like to get a 15' but 65k was really my max budget which was 58k 2 weeks ago lol. Thanks for the help gents. Jim

Have you seen the thread on here about the Texas Group-Buy? I think they are saying 5% under invoice, lots of people have dealt with and have had good experiences with the guy/dealer. The difference could be worth the plane flight + drive back in your new SRT (or could always ship it as well...).

The 5.5% below invoice applies to all remaining 2014 and all new 2015 Jeeps. PM if you want the details.

5% under invoice would be a nice reason to visit Texas.

Last ditch effort I called them up and came up one thousand to 66k which is about invoice on this 2014 MY truck and they came down from 68k to 67k. Either way that's my final answer haha. No deal :(

'14s should be pretty heavily discounted at this point. I got a '15 with just about the same sticker price as yours (towing, black spider monkeys, no Laguna) for $66k. Maybe check the DC Group Buy? Not sure if that applies to SRTs or not, but that's closer than TX. Tell the local dealers you can get a '15 for 3% under in TX, and are willing to spend a little more to save a flight and a hotel room, and you should be able to get to ~2-2.5% below invoice. That's what i did. Gave them a number and said "hit this number and I'll buy it from you today, otherwise I'm going to TX"

When I bought my Jeep sticker was a hair under $70k. I showed invoice to be around $64.5 (can't remember exactly) and then the dealer came out with their "invoice" which showed it around $65.5. So either the online estimates are low, or the dealer is full of shit. I'm leaning towards both
