I know, I was just bustin' ya.

Isn't it just crazy how you can post something pretty benign (at least I thought so) on a section of a forum dedicated to the subject matter of my original posting, then some POS just comes a long and not only hijacks the thread, but starts to bash the exact reason why he even joined this forum. I mean, wtf is that?

Anyways, I do love the SRT and found that video not only interesting to me, but I am sure you guys who actually have one would be interested as well.

Sure, I have a laredo, but its mine and I efing love it. So ef that dude!

From the specific ZF model number, you can look up the other vehicles that use it, as well as the torque handling number. If same one used in the high end Audi, BMW, Bentley, etc. the answer would probably be "a lot"

With a good perfbuilder grade tune, it should be possible to keep the drive train away from explosions... plus possibly someone will start doing transmission beef ups as well.

Just killed a few minutes with the guy on the phone and he said: the size turbo is a 76 and they are running between 1.5 to 2 lbs of boost. He has no idea about when Chrysler will release the software, but when they do, they can dyno and tune it.

Also, they will have some more vids up soon too...

Re: Turbo 2014 SRT

As suspected that turbo is ridiculously oversized for the engine. It looks like it was only using the exhaust from one side of the engine.

I wonder how many lbs the stock internals can withstand. My guess would be no more than 10? Also I wonder what kind of trans mods will be available for the new 8 speed like new valve bodies and such...

I believe the number is 8 PSI before the ring landings go. Seen some 392 challengers with the Maggie or Pro Charger kit pop the ring landings.
