Ultrac SUV Sessanta Tires

What is everyone's opinion on the Ultrac SUV Sessanta tires??? Im looking at tires and i want to go with the Pirelli but they are very hard to get and some I'm also considering the Ultrac SUV Sessanta.... Im very concerned about the noise and handling of the tires and i want to know what everyone who is using them thinks about them.... NOISE IS A BIG CONCERN as i can't stand a noisy tire.

Re: Ultrac SUV Sessanta Tires

I am/was in a similar situation. My wheels won't be ready for another 6-8 weeks so I'm trying to get tires lined up. Discount tire did a price match for me on the Pirellis and told me they are back ordered for a month (as of a week ago). The Pirellis are still very much in production. I'd call around and see when they expect to get more in.

A buddy of mine with a Cayenne GTS has had the Vred and the Pirellis. The Vreds have a more narrow tread width and ride very rough about half life through according to him. He liked the Pirellis better. Both are still good tires. I for one hate the tread pattern on the Vred.

This is very debatable as Verds are the #1 tire choice of all Jeeps dating back to the 2005-2006 we have had just about all tires on all Jeeps and disagree with ^ totally sorry.

I guess the "According to Him" is key here it's his opinion but letting Jeep Peeps speak will say volumes about their performance on Jeeps ya know.

My First hand experience says different Vred's are great tires and I'm sure a lot of Verd owns can attest to this also not just myself. I have customers that put them on everything they own because they love em and even have customers that are on their second set on their 05-10 Jeeps.

Very surprised more comments haven't been posted here on these honestly.

Re: Ultrac SUV Sessanta Tires

i'm very happy with the vreds. They are quiet at highway speeds not harsh at all on horrible Boston roads and do very well in the rain they also seem to be wearing good. I would absolutely buy another set.

^^No hard feelings. I talk a lot of crap on here... truth be told I'm kind of disappointed you handled your disagreement so diplomatically!

I always figured people bought Vreds and FRs because they are cheap. MSRP Pirelli's are about $100 more each tire. My buddy loved his, he just said as they get about halfway their performance drops off considerably and the ride goes to shit (compared to his Pirelli).

Re: Ultrac SUV Sessanta Tires

i am rolling with my 3rd set of VREDS all of which were bought from Black ops cause they are the best

i love these tires.... they are comfy, look great... perform incredibly...wear evenly and they are reasonably priced.

i think the vred is a great tire and you will be happy with them. make sure you order from Black Ops though.... cause i heard that getting VREDS from other people....the quality of the tire just isnt there heheh...
