I second this. As a daily car, cabin drone can become an issue for me. Any interior sound comparisons ?? Maybe compared to a Borla ATAK such as the videos SRTGeek posted.

Anyone who is thinking about ordering we buy all the SRT Jeep Exhausts every shipment from GThaus and have delivered 14 this month already with the final 3 leaving today.

Next Batch is due in April and I expect them to all sell out again if you're thinking of Ordering Please order soon as I am already getting ready to tell people May is the next delivery. So if you want one by summer don't delay we can not keep them in stock.
Sorry to thread jack. Quick question. I received my system (Thanks!!!) the day before I left town so I never had to check everything included. Some people have told me you will need the exhaust clamps from the factory system as well as the flange bolts. Another people have told me everything is included. Can you confirm if I need anything from the stock system? I don't want to show up at the install shop Thursday and find out I'm missing things.

Thanks!

Re: VIDEOS: Borla Atak versus GT Haus

I brought mine to the local shop and they installed without issue. all I had was that big ass box from GT Haus. They did say there were no clamps but being a muffler shop, they have several sizes/styles etc so they had no issues.

I think if you're going to a decent shop, you're good to go.

Now wiping the permagrin off your face once it's installed.. that's another topic.

Anyone that owns any SRT and thinks they are not going to have some level of drone, with a near 500 horsepower V8... shouldn't own a V8 SRT. Might I suggest a prius or an accord? (kidding, but again, srsly... this is not a chick wagon, this is a beast)

Seriously. It's a muscle car, well, suv... there is going to be noise.

If the little amount of possible difference is going to trouble you, don't buy this exhaust. It's not quiet, it's not supposed to be quiet.

Haha you I'll make it clearer :P I like drone, but to an extent. Too much of it and I'll be more annoyed from it in the long run. It's just that I go to work and back everyday and would want to know how much drone it makes. If I'm cruising around town then drone makes no difference for me since I'm having fun , but long drives to work, not so much

Re: VIDEOS: Borla Atak versus GT Haus

^^ive got a custom setup that sounds awesome so to be honest I'm a little weary about the GTHaus. First I had Borla ATAK, then ATAK+ARH X-pipe resos, now GTHaus. I love my current setup but the GT was a gift which is why I am changing. To say I am apprehensive is an understatement. We'll see....

Re: VIDEOS: Borla Atak versus GT Haus

A-kon I dont think your gonna be disappointed the slightest in fact I think you'll be quite pleased. No one person has called and complained about drone and at least 12 people have taken off either the Corsa and Borla and have said no regrets at all. You will reuse the oem tip clamps from my understanding that is all everything else is their.

On another note I agree with SRTGeek if you expect quiet this is not the system it is not designed to be quiet lol. I have read a lot of people concerned with around the town sound let me put it this way 1,000's of Borla S where sold probably the most popular exhaust for the 05-10 and IMO the GThaus in closed mode don't come near the sound level of that system and I personally drove with one for 6 years. We really need to be comparing apples to apples the GThaus is a complete system and of course it sounds different than the Borla IMO the Borla is a 600.00 muffler with a welded on tip I hope their is a difference. With this said a better comparison would be the complete kooks or AR system IMO just sayin'.

I should also mention we have a few more for April delivery then we are onto May.

Re: VIDEOS: Borla Atak versus GT Haus

Anyone know what size the OEM clamps are? My factory exhaust is in storage and I don't want to go get them. I'd prefer to just buy a set from a Muffler shop. The place doing the install is more of a car customizing shop. I chose them over a muffler shop because of the electric wiring. I doubt however they will have the clamps in stock.

On a side note being as expensive as the GT is I'm surprised it doesn't come with everything needed. Exhaust is going on in the AM and then we can have a comparison of GT closed vs my custom exhaust.

I believe it's an oddly shaped clamp that specifically fits how they connect together.

Tom's right I think that's why they reused them.

The MFG cost on something like that is through the roof for the limited amount of exhaust sold it really would add 100's to each system because 10k PC. would be the minimum order for them not in 10 lifetimes that may jeep Systems will be sold.
