VIDEOS: Borla Atak versus GT Haus

Some of you are wondering which you should buy. I myself have owned the S-Type and liked it, this was the first time hearing the ATAK up close. It's great! nice and aggressive.

I'm still more a fan of my GT Haus Meisterschaft though, it's like I have the ATAK when Ia m in closed open mode and then I can unleash the hounds of hell in open valve mode.

This isn't a which is better, this is simple which is right for you. Hope these help you decide!

Borla ATAK in black. GT Haus Meisterschaft in white. (closed valve)

Borla ATAK in black. GT Haus Meisterschaft in white. (open valve)

A quick acceleration note for both.. (dusty road so not a speed demo)

My blog post about these if interested can be read here.

Nice videos, been waiting for someone to do a comparison side by side. I think you meant to subtitle second video as valves open. closed mode is not as loud as i initially thought but open mode is. i might have to reconsider my options again, i was worried closed mode was too loud for me for day to day driving....

Finally a good quality video, which we can use as comparison.

fixed the second video.. thx! i was tired setting these up.. ha

Closed is awesome, only time it gets loud is if you truly step into it. On the weekend I'll set up my go pro and show you.

Re: VIDEOS: Borla Atak versus GT Haus

Nice work SRTgeek, the best example so far.

I like them both to be honest. The GTHaus is sensational though in closed mode.

I have the Borla S which I haven't put on yet. Hope I like it after those vids.

Wow what a perfect video, thanks for posting this. It would be the cherry on top if you threw in the Borla S for comparison too !

Can you add your review about Cabin Drone when using Borla ATAK or GTHaus with open/closed valves ? At idle, low speed, high speed and WOT.

I did a Borla S video when I had it on my old 2014 black SRT... against stock.

My opinion - Drone exists anytime you have a powerful V8, that's just the reality. Price we pay for go fast car.

Stock SRT has drone to a degree, as does the others.. myself, I have adapted so it doesn't bother me. The sound of the GT Haus in closed is quiet, but I usually have mine in open because I love the roar.

What drone? The beautiful sound of a rumbling V8?

Re: VIDEOS: Borla Atak versus GT Haus

Thanks for the video! To be honest, I'm more worried than ever now. I always felt my Borla ATAK was extremely quiet. My custom setup is perfect and sounds (video) a lot more aggressive than the GTHaus in closed mode. Open on the other hand is at the far end of the other spectrum. I sure hope the GT is noticeably louder than the ATAK in person. I'll be spending most of my time in closed.
