Hahah yea we do. But I did it alittle different than yours. I didn't go on to the wing above the rear window. I may add it at some point but for now it's still DCR wing
Well I got it done for free because me and my buddy who installed it needs to custom metal cutting done so we are swapping services. It was a good hook up. The antenna was an absolute pain in the ars!!!!!!! Atleast for us it was
Did you do the gloss black or flat black on the roof? I kinda like my white shark fin, thought about doing a strip over it and leaving the sides white but just seems like such a pita so left it. Did you have to use 3 separate pieces on it?
When we did mine we were able to pull the clips down enough to looses the clip and bolts on the shark fin. Not a fun job but certainly doable and makes it a whole lot easier
After a lot research, I feel like you can do it yourself however you will need some helping hands on the project. The sheer size of vinyl is what makes this difficult.
I've asked a couple times what guys are paying for this not sure what the answer is. The materials are under $200 for the top 3m stuff though...
I'm going to try my luck with the trim first then do the roof if I feel comfortable.
I paid $300 for the roof, mirrors, front cowls and 15% tint on the front windows. All 3M stuff and it took about 3 hours. We removed the roof rails and the shark fin when we did the roof and I had the mirrors done but have since removed them. Honestly with a helper I think the roof will be easier than the trim because it is basically flat. Be sure to clean it really well, use a heat gun on low to stretch it and move slowly. Might even want to practice with a small piece first, you can easily pull it right off when you're done.
