Re: Vinyl wrapped my chrome trim

Did you use flat or gloss black for the window trim?

Re: Vinyl wrapped my chrome trim

I used 3M 1080 Scotchprint in gloss black and it matches the factory color pillars perfect

Re: Vinyl wrapped my chrome trim

Did my trim and rings last weekend. Came out great! Actually impressed myself. I never messed with vinyl before but thanks to the directions on here, I didn't have a problem. Make sure you have some time and patience before you begin. GLOSS BLACK is the way to go.

Yup! Trying to match the black chrome wheels, and if i upgrade wheels i intend on getting the same finish.

Keep me posted on your success and what material you are going to use.

Re: Vinyl wrapped my chrome trim

Since my 2014 is a Lemon and I will be getting a 2015 instead, I am thinking of doing WHITE vinyl on the new one. Has anyone seen white on white? Hmmm, then powder coat the rims white....!!! I think I may be on to something. Anyone?
