I got a text about them on the 4th May saying they would be within the next two months. So if not here already then not far off.

Re: Wait time for delivery - Australia

I thought the stock cars issue was markup. Order and wait a little and you get deals... $78K for Black, Roof, HK & Spider Monkeys :-)

If you bought for $78k your a legend

Yes they probably charge more for a car in stock, I'm told high $80k's now (JeepAU recently had a $3k price rise on the SRT). Order times are out to 6mths someone else said?

Re: Wait time for delivery - Australia

Your best bet is to look on Carsales and see who has stock.
They are asking a premium for anything in stock, as they are having no trouble moving them at RRP + instock tax.
You will have very little bargaining power with any in stock vehicles.

Re: Wait time for delivery - Australia

Well yes, first full week of open road & round town driving it's been nothing short of awesome! Standout for me is this 8 speed box, everyone is going to have different take on this, but in conjunction with the paddle shifters getting off the line( traffic lights ) is a smooth altra rapid affair. In auto the box moves rapidly , maybe not as smooth but with plenty of grunt an speed. Took my beast through the nerang-murwillumbah road, about 40km of winding, narrow at times bitumen road.I left the trac select in auto, wanted to see how well standard setup would go. It was pretty good for such a large vehicle didn't notice any excessive body roll. There were 35-40kmh bends where 70kmh was doable for the beast, the massive feet stops any lateral movement. There were a couple corners that had depressions mid way through the turn which unsettled the suspension momentarily, once again the big feet compensated while the suspenders regain there composure. I actually enjoyed that sensation never felt the vehicle was cutting loose, came out the other side in straight line, pure joy!

Hey....... Happy Birthday Bundy.

Sorry you didn't get the beast. But just think of it as an extended birthday gift.. Well worth the wait.

Cheers.
