And Tk100 they get better with time, the gearbox settles in as does all the suspension etc giving a nicer ride all round. Enjoy.

Yeah thanks mate I am really stoked about its performance even though as you said it will get better with time. Performance to value ratio is really second to none

Re: Wait time for delivery - Australia

So seeing as I started this longggg thread I figure I should let everyone know I took delivery last Friday. First order of business was a run down to the farm in the southern highlands via Macquarie Pass. Awesome bit of road that Ill have to do again when its run in and Im more familiar with the beast. On the way home I was curious about fuel efficiency... turns out its not half bad if you set the cruise at 120km/h (75mph) and drive from Bowral to Sydney Domestic Airport! (9.4L/100km = 25mpg in old fashioned units)

Re: Wait time for delivery - Australia

Hey that's pretty good, I did a run about 60 kms set cruise at 110km an got 10.4L I'm guessing if it had been 100km run I would come under 10 litres. Similar circumstances i had only few hundred kms on the clock at that time, may get better once run in (haven't passed 800km yet). Have averaged around town about 14.6 litres.....ha ha maybe I not give it enough off the line at traffic lights ! Anyway well done Au drew its been long thread! I know yourwill enjoy the beast as we all are an wait makes it more rewarding

Re: Wait time for delivery - Australia

AU.drew, looks to be running a CRD, this is why he is getting such good economy.
I get 20-21 around town, lots of short hops.

Not sure how he will respond to your claim his SRT is running a diesel in it.
