Re: Wanna buy a Hellcat?

For what that's going to sell for you can sink the money into a regular SRT and make way more than 707HP.

Re: Wanna buy a Hellcat?

Unfortunately for most potential buyers they won't realize he's a liar. VIN numbers are not sequential, thus this is not the 12th Hellcat Challenger off the assembly line. It's actually somewhere in the 400's

Glad they made it but it doesn't do anything for me. I'm not a Mopar guy to be honest. I'm a Jeep guy.

I wouldn't buy anything Richard Rawlings made, drove, or bought.
His show is entertaining and his mechanic Aaron has skills but I wouldn't trust anything Richard was peddling.

20-30 years from now, you could likely sell that particular Hellcat and buy an entire fleet of fairy-dust powered vehicles of whatever is still legal for sale.
One from Jay Leno with serial number 1 would be better, but that unit is likely going to go to a smart investor.

I noted in the listing that it has two brand new rear tires - I can just hear Dicky screaming "YOU GOTTA GET YOURSELF SOMEA THAT!!!" as he shredded the rear rubber in less than 900 miles. Wonder what he did to the transmission.

I like the hellcats but dealerships are selling these cars 10k to 20k over. Not worth it to say I have a hellcat. Like u said I minus well put the stuff in it yourself.

And like dumbies people are going to buy the hellcat and put a different supercharger on it. Should started from scratch with the SRT.

I really don't think it's stupid. The hellcat is a much better package. What you fail to realize is its not just a supercharger it's also a forged motor. By the time you install a forged motor and supercharger on a regular SRT you'll be in atleast 15k. Not to mention the upgraded axles and drivetrain that come with the hellcat and also the nicer factory options like the seats. And there's definitely something to be said about owning a "hellcat" rather than a plain old SRT. All backed by a 5 year 100k warranty your not gonna get anywhere else. You know it's gonna last and if it doesn't they'll fix it for free. I'm on board. But the 20k dealer markup is insane but that will come down when they can't move the cars.

I dont think its stupid to buy a hellcat but I wont buy a over priced one. I know its more stuff to the hellcat. I'm not going spend extra money for the hellcat and changed the supercharger. I think that is stupid to me. 707 is already good for me. If I were to change somthing it would be something else. People on my end talking about buying the hellcat then change the supercharger. All I am saying is buy the SRT and peek and tweek it yourself and get as much hp as the hellcat or more.
