Hey Blackops, that C/F stuff looks awesome man, although I question how long the step pad would last with normal abuse while loading and unloading stuff. Does it have a special epoxy finish, or just a regular clear coat? The other C/F parts shouldn't be an issue IMO. And they complement the interior C/F bits on SRTs.
Scott is right they are Clear Gel Coat. If scratched they can be buffed out not re-cleared.
The chrome surround is under the black step so you can not remove it by itself. I suppose you could pull up really hard but u may damage something.
You may be able to reach under and release the clips I got fed up lol.
My new parts bolt up so taking the bumper off will be easiest since it had nuts with it for install.
This stuff is of much higher quality than all of the last gen. CF with a new process of MFG. so it should actually fit better and last 10x longer not that the other stuff doesn't last 10 years already lol.
