"First one delivered" - Totally wrong. Wasn't close to being the first delivered to a dealer, also not the first delivered to the customer.

"Got it for $56k out the door" - Nevermind telling people it is basically a stripped model of which less than 10%-or something- of production will be.

Just because I might be taking delivery of my order, doesn't mean I am going to agree with incorrect info given to a public forum of people.
Shlep...Incorrect posts? Ha hahaha...Your such a tool. Read the post, "1st one delivered!?!" Do you not understand "?" I didn't say it was guaranteed 1st one delivered! I got photos of the unit delivered and didn't see anything posted on here. Which there wasn't!! So I posted the photos! Explain the incorrectness or hyperbolic post?

Is it not the same Jeep everyone will be driving around? Is it not 470 HP? does it not have select trac? Does it not have Nav, HK audio, Heated Cooled Seats, Bluetooth connectivity, HID headlights.
It's still a loaded Jeep out the door for $56K. And not to mention, Mike H who has one fully loaded out the door and delivered for $59K. That's pretty damn far from the $70K from the posts that I was responding to.

So....Incorrect? Where?
I Maybe wrong sometimes but not on purpose. But, feel free to correct me with your negative attacks at me and my posts. I'm sorry you have some vendetta about what I post on here.

Re: What are people paying for JC SRT8's?

Sales tax is salt being poured in the wound for me. Looking at over 4K if I want a license plate here. As far a buying one of these with limited options....I wouldnt do it. Whats an extra 3-4K to get all the goodies after you are already dropping 60K + ?
Besides if and when you go and try to sell it people will be more likely to pass for a "speacial" GC that has barebones options. In other words, they're all damn near going to be the same price once they get used a little and have the shine knocked off of them. Weirdo's like us that make a stretch to take one down only to get laid off and soon finding out in 8-12 months time you are 9-15 grand upside down in the thing.

Re: What are people paying for JC SRT8's?

I'm not sure what you guys are arguing about. It is nonsense and at the end of the day doesn't have impact on any of you.

The OP basically asked what kind of deal is everyone getting and I think the answer is anywhere from MSRP to slightly less then invoice.

I can't wait until more of the 2012s are out and the discussions become more meaningful!!!

Group hug guys!

IF somebody is that crazy to actually pay $70K, being "only" $15K upside down in 12 months is actually optimistic.

NJKen is a splendid one to behold
Re: What are people paying for JC SRT8's?

OK my dealer just called and told me after price protection, I'll be looking at $62,9XX. I told them I wasn't paying sticker and we went around in circles. I left it at I'll be up on Monday to discuss it.

Now I am in a awkward position, I want the Jeep but not for $68k OTD. I just feel like I am getting hosed here.

Edit: That price is loaded...Rear DVD, 3 Season, Tow...etc

You are in exactly the same situation as I will be. I want price protection at invoice, not sticker. The dealer will still make their 3% profit, even at invoice, right? If they won't budge, I won't buy. I really really want the car, but I think I've already gone way above and beyond pricewise to even consider paying price protection at invoice. I guess you can play to their sense of fairness (if a dealer is capable of feeling it), that it's already an exorbitant price at invoice.
