Just ordered my bwoody 4' cai, bwoody sway bar links and emailed Dan @ Thefastman to confirm the 84mm with 3.5mm half shaft mod for the throttlebody (then ordering upon confirmation of exact link to right tb)
Only headache I foresee in the future is fabbing the washer tank set up. I'm surprised nobody has created an alternate set up for mini production yet. Lots of threads though detailing how people did their set up.
Was going to figure out some 22"s but since 22"s make your ride slower... damn it damn it damn it.. going to look at new 20's for the spring to wrap with BFG g-force KDW2's
Running around a little salty from all the snow in these parts. Thanks to blackops for RM mid springs, it's a lot more bearable till I can get her washed off! Handles great, rides even better than before! A must have for all who are thinking about adding spring to their ride! Added the SRT badge too while she was up on the rack. Thanks again to PhillySRT for that sweet addition. All the car salesmen and service guys were wanting to know when it came from. I'll be sending some biz your way! Fastman throttle body will be here any day.....that's the next instal. Few pics for you.
Got in my gorilla lugs today. Plan to put on this weekend.
Side note I want to order the billet tech srt center caps. Does anyone know off the top of their head if I order them for the stock wk2 black chrome wheels of they will fit the wk1 22 reps??
Tom would prob know better than most here as he has them but when i spoke with BT they told me they could send out a demo cap to test my reps and see if it worked. They're designed to fit the stock wheels perfectly as a replacement, but this doesn't mean they won't fit reps of course.
If you email BT, they'll send you a cap to test out.
How's everyone blacking out the chrome around the windows. Did a. 2012 Laredo with Plasti before, but wanted to see if there was another option. Plasti looked/worked great, just took a while.
Got mine off a dealer on eBay. I got a 5'x5' roll and I have half of it left. How much you need depends on if you do single pieces or section it out to make it easier to get around the curves. I did my backs in 1 piece but I have 2 pieces on each front, split right below the mirrors - that saved a LOT of material.
The rear trim piece is built into the glass. Mine was damaged on shipping so I saw what it took to get that piece out... The rest can come off, but good luck not bending them with the tape and what not.
I did mine myself and it looks great, just took me longer than a pro I'm sure. But, I like to tinker and it gave me an excuse to sit in the garage and watch football
