Awesome! I hope to see you running around town! I just saw a brand new black 2014 on north Tarrant yesterday. Flashed my lights at him to try to get him to pull over but it was raining and he prob thought I was just saying hi lol.

blacking out trim and emblems today. Is it tough to remove the grand Cherokee lettering from the door panels? any tips on how would be appreciated! Think it will look better without

To remove the lettering from the vehicle use something like a old credit card or store card the lettering comes off quite easy. After buying my SRT the AMEX card was a good choice.

I used wax string and it worked very well. The front and back emblems have much better double sided tape, thus it was easier to pull off in one piece (pull up and away at a 45* angle! pulling straight up or toward the tape itself will tear it).

The sides were a different story. I also thought I could use alcohol to take the rest of the tape since it was falling apart. Use WD-40, it will save you a ton of time, and will not hurt your paint at all.

A little wd-40 hairdryer and an old credit card. And patience. Then clean up.

Plenty of threads with ideas and tips

Re: What did you do to your WK2 SRT today?

had a pretty productive weekend on the beast actually... de-badged everything, stripped and repainted the grill trim and lower grill gloss black, and had the front windows tinted 20%. looks awesome.

waiting now for my black rear tailgate Jeep badge, 2 SRT badges in black for the front doors (where the 'Grand Cherokee' badges were), and a black/red 6.4 HEMI badge for the tailgate (where the SRT badge used to be).

next: lowering, CW5's with 305/35R22 Pirelli Scorpion's and I'm done...

peace.

Re: What did you do to your WK2 SRT today?

Did the SRT track day at MIS, was a blast, definitely recommend it to anyone who has the ability to go.

Won fastest auto-x for the day (in the Jeep nonetheless!), got this awesome trophy and a nice SRT jacket for it. Out of all the SRT vehicles there people were definitely in love with the Jeep. Only other one I'd even consider is the 300. Charger and challenger no thank you, but they were fun to drive.

Re: What did you do to your WK2 SRT today?

Added a new video source coming to my RAX Jailbreak... Very content with this setup. Only thing i would change in the future is possibly swapping out for a Chromecast once they add more features/functionility. Mirroring 3 test phones has been seemless so far. (nexus4, HTC one , and HTC one M8)

Push2TV--->HDMI to Composite Adapter--> RAX Jailbreak Composite feed

Congrats, I have one of those on my desk as well . My fastest was also in the Jeep, although my time in the Challenger was good enough to win anyways.

That would be awesome if we could also use the VR button to utilize Google for nav input
