Thanks to Summit 5.7 for the quick help as it wasn't sure quite how to remove it

Just need to get the window trim wrapped - think I found a place (yes I know many people DIY - but Patience is a Virtue... I do not possess!)

Is there a how-to somewhere here for this? I thought that emblem was hard mounted ? (meaning part of tailgate and if broken off/out, there is no way to reattach).

Looks great! Were those pretty simple to lay out? Assume you just have to do some trimming at the corners of the garage and along the wall? Very nice!

I thought so too - it is just glue/taped on it has pegs to help hold it - but removes just like the other emblems.

There is a thread on this - but I put blue painters tape around the emblem - then heated it up with a hairdryer - and added some WD-40 to loosing up the glue - then I used an old starbucks card to get under it and pry off - some use fishing line - either way need to separate it - getting the old glue off is harder than with the other emblems due to the recessed nature of the spot.

Thanks.

I see there are two different ones on JFJ website, Which one is it: 5UY60DX8AA or 55112724AA?

Crazy easy to do. Took an hour to lay out the floor and another hour to do all the trimming on the edges. Wife had the purple tiles and daughter had the grey tiles. The placed down and I pounded them together, I easily kept up to them. You can cut them with a jigsaw, circular saw, table saw, chop saw, or a sharp utility knife.

Re: What did you do to your WK2 SRT today?

Also, if anyone is interested in doing the race deck, if you join up to be a member on Garage Journal forum (sorry if I am not allowed to post this) and mention that you are a member, race deck will give a fairly decent discount(25% approx).
