Re: What did you do to your WK2 SRT today?

Awesome. What's your setup? What signals did you tap off of to go into your JL amp? LOC? Looks like it shakes the street.

I have 3 full and a half set of the boston acoustics Z6 components. 2 jl 300/2 amps and a 1000/1 amp. Then of course the 13w7.

I used a loc til i get an arc audio ps8 or a bit one. Might change the head unit too.

I would really like to fit an 8 inch in each door or a 10 in the floor for up front bass.
I still dont have a solid plan for the real system. It will be semi stealth though.

I just wanted something for my 3 week trip that im going on. It no longer runs out of bass when the window opens thats for sure.

What signals did you use for your loc?

Installed Lakin number plate brackets, picture doesn't do it justice. The fit is perfect and makes the plate look real nice against the bumper. Very impressed.

Throttle response is the biggest plus, very very responsive. Not sure if it helped but I did a Launch and clocked a 4.9sec, driver only and 1/4 tank fuel. Added the CAI, 2 people and full tank fuel and still pulled a 4.9sec

I meant to use the rear speakers but it seems I tapped into the front somehow.

I can correct that pretty easily.

I am pretty sure I read that the front had the full signal, and the rears don't.

Really...I thought that I read the opposite. Oh well. It is working very well as of now soI'm not too concerned.

I do need to get my oscilloscope out and test the rca signal to make sure it is clean. My amp is pretty hot after some extended listening.

Found plenty of rattles by using this sub. Gotta kill those before I go ported. This thing is going to be a monster. Cannot wait to get everything installed!
