Re: What did you do to your WK2 SRT today?

Really, I thought they would've addressed this by now. Silly for a A$90k vehicle.

Speaking of SRT Pages, has anyone seen them for the Challenger Wildcat? Simply awesome. You can program shift lights by RPM and all kinds of other crazy stuff. Me wants.

Install took me about 15 mins. The only thing I don't like is the grommet for the temperature sensor. Other than that, very easy install, well worth the $$$. I can see a lot of air getting into the 'box'. You can modify or remove the little plastic piece to get more air into the front but I'm not sure if it's even needed.

I would've taken before and after air temp readings and sound recordings but my friggin' SRT pages wouldn't come up even after turning the car off and on a couple of times so I couldn't be bothered. After installing it, the SRT Pages popped up though.
You can say the word "more" via the vr and the pages come up everytime!

Hey Maxy. I'm thinking about doing this soon. Will there be any problems with emissions or anything like that down the track? Also, after living with it for a couple weeks now, what are your thoughts?

Mate I'm not sure on emissions or how it will go for future inspections , but after a couple of weeks it's good it has got a bit louder and it has a nice rumble to it now and the engine has seem to have tuned itself reason I say this is that before I had about half a sec delay when booting into WOT . Honestly I really like the sound mate it's a good mod for such little money, in saying that I did order the GTHaus Exhaust system to basically turn heads and have some fun . Personally I would do it and you keep your suitcase muffler because you can always put it back on , like I said its a real difference after 2 weeks of use , But I did read somewhere on this site that after 12mnths of doing this mod the standard mufflers at the rear start to fail or start to rattle because of all the extra exhaust pressure

I can't remember thou who it was sorry , maybe someone else can chime in or confirm this ?

What did you do to your WK2 SRT today?

My wife picked up the car today it had the new Driveshafts TSB put in , got the rear headlight module fixed " my fault" , and got the Aircon TSB done and the Uconnect TSB done and they put in new rear shock absorbers in ?? She took some photos of the Driveshafts etc etc but she said the biggest improvement was the rear camera ? , it's not cloudy or blurry anymore it's crystal clear . I joined that petition too and looks like it wasn't the poor quality camera ? It's was just lousy firmware , she took a video and photos I can't believe the difference . Well that's one bunch of problems fixed.

Go Jeep :-)

Ahhh...I'm going to have to look into this and wait a bit. Thanks for bringing this to my attention whether it's true or not. The last thing I need is for the wife asking why I have to put a new exhaust on...but then again that could be a good thing.

Already installed! That dirt on the ground may be from previous washes. The new hawk pads are way better than stock so far. Thanks for the suggestion.

I honestly feel the loss is negligible and they seem to be biting harder than the first week they were installed. Since I'm not tracking the vehicle I think whatever loss is insignificant. These are hawk HPS BTW.
