I'll do a write up as soon as I find or someone tells me where the start module is. Can't seem to find it. All I have to do is connect to that with the harness. I've given up for tonight I might have a better crack at it tommorrow.

Re: What did you do to your WK2 SRT today?

It looks like the module is on the passengers side behind the glove box but it looks like it might be a different connector from the pictures hmm only way to know is to pull it out

What did you do to your WK2 SRT today?

Hey CLStech I have found a 2013 SRT headlight wiring harness kit today at the wreckers but they wouldn't let me take it home because they didn't no the price of it and were going to ring me back with the price , I was like WTF is going on with this wrecking yard it has new management now ? , anyway I rang my mate the sparky he said to me I wouldn't do it because there's a reason your car doesn't have these wires in your harness that's why there missing ?

Any thoughts on this CLStech ? I'm just asking mate out of my mates logic he put to me , as I like to ask questions even if they sound silly to some ..sorry for keep going on with this DRL mod but when I talk to me mate he does my head in and I start having doubts

2 things. A 2013 model year wiring harness will not help your situation. You will need a 2014 model year, if it was built before March 2014 it will have the needed wires. If it was built after than you can at the last use the pins out of it to populate your harness. ( you only need 2 pins, so others may benefit as well)

2nd the headlight itself has the leads needed for the mod to work. They are the same headlights found on the overland and summits just with a black housing. The reason they removed the physical wire from the SRT model is because the headlight ribbob feature isn't activated hence why the mod was created... The physical wiree was probably removed for cost reasons not because it will harm anything.
