Re: What did you do to your WK2 SRT today?

Added Hawk HPS front pads over the weekend to hopefully help with the brake dust on the front wheels.

It does have a nice, deep tone without being overly aggressive.

Oh yea, no issues with the lack of exhaust valves on the 2015. I did have to have my wife help me hold up the exhaust to match up the bends and hanger locations so i could better estimate and mark the cut locations on the stock exhaust.
bmrisko, I also have a 2015 and am interested in the Borla S exhaust. Now that you have had yours for a week or so, I would like to know if there is any drone at highway speeds. Are you glad you did it, or would you be just as happy with stock exhaust? Thanks!

Hell yeah you will love them. Be sure to take some abrupt lane changes going 70-80mph to feel the difference before and after install!

The jury is still out. Sometimes I love it and sometimes it sounds too loud and boomy. I've tried to get some sound clips for the Borla engineers, but I haven't been able to capture any good ones yet. I'm tempted to try one of the full catback systems since some people say they are so quiet, but they also said that about the Borla S.

The good news is I pulled a 4.2s 0-60 today...stock other than the Borla.

Thanks for the feedback. Since the 2015 no longer has the valves in the exhaust pipe, I have been wondering if the Borla S would sound different. Please update this item again after you have had more time to feel them out.

Prior to the 2015 SRT, there were passive flapper valves in each exhaust pipe, just in front of the rear axle. The 2015 no longer has those. The valves were partially closed unless you were approaching wide open throttle. The exhaust pipes on the 2015 are wide open all the time. I'm not sure about that stupid crimp however. I never understood why that was there in the first place.
