Yes it can be done, I would imagine if the correct time and effort was not taken it could degrade over time.

These guys went layer by layer and ensured that impurities and imperfections were baked out before adding layers and paint.

Re: What did you do to your WK2 SRT today?

I wonder if you can buy the panel from Jeep/Mopar/JustforJeeps etc and send it to your guy to get done. As our cars are still pretty new colour (color) matching wont be an issue. Then they could send it out and we send our originals back to them (exchange basis) for them to do the dame for the next customer?

That's a lot of oil.
Make sure you get that taken care of ASAP!

In the dealer now.

Has a puddle size of a dollar bill sitting in there service department

First they said it's wrong filter lol. You guys are a SRT dealer. You guys put on the SRT oil filters on the last 5 changes.

They were like the m041 is a viper filter. Ok they list that part number on the SRT site. It's comical really.

Think im going to chat on the SRT hotline if they don't correct it properly.

Dealer replaced it with a new srt filter. They said they called the srt hotline to confirm it fits Jeep SRTs.

Replaced oil again.
Changed my drain bolt. Said it rounded off when they went to take it off...

Gave me 2 free oil changes. $200 value.

Overall happy.

Still ridiculous they can't get this right. Oil change is the most basic service. Just speaks to the bigger overall issue that chrysler really needs to step up it's game in service. Too many similar and worse stories.

FWIW, this is true of any any vehicle brand. I saw it all the time when I was a detailer at Infiniti. Oil changers are the lowest "tech" on the totem pole and to be honest, I'd never let one of them touch my vehicle. That is why I do oil changes myself.

Re: What did you do to your WK2 SRT today?

Got a smokin deal on a set of LLoyd Ultimat Floormats. Ordered them in black with SRT embroidered in red to match my exterior red accents. Considered going with white or silver for the SRT but had white on my CTSV mats and was always worried about getting it dirty. Excellent fit and real quality mat.
