Sorry lol I also put on Doms awesome SRT emblem for the front lower grille. I'm not happy where it is but plan to move it further to to the right when i get it back on the lift.
1) To the D(st)ealer for the 12K oil change and 14-014 TSB update. Asked for new wipers front and back - and they didn't have them in stock... should have known just to do it myself. At least this time they actually reset the oil life monitor
2) Ordered Brembo cross drilled rotors and pads - on backorder as we know - hopefully by the time the snowshoes come up mid-april they will be here
3) Ordered Borla Atak exhaust - already shipped
Black ops front splitter is next - no rush considering we have potholes around here big enough that it would probably get ripped off...
Washed it every other day in the past week, it is a lost cause...
control arms didn't come this this weekend. so tinting taillights and color changing calipers. have them all apart, scuffed, and ready to paint.
stay tuned on color they will be painted hopefully tonight. taillights will be back in tonight so i can wet sand and buff them. only did 2 coats just a little dark on them.
Haha I agree with boss.man, post all type of videos when you get the GTHaus !!! I don't know if I should go for borla first them upgrade to a GTHaus a year later (to feel like I upgraded to something meaner), or just get it. It's a huge jump from stock !!
color is industrial waste green should really pop behind the concavos. waiting on brembo stickers. should have my control arms tuesday so lowering and wheels next weekend. (have done this on a few cars over the years factory brembos are painted, they really are, no ill effects from this. well besides maybe getting sick from my color choice.
taillights this was just a little black mixed with clear 2 coats, then 3 coats of clear. looks darker because the pic was taken when the truck was still inside.
Powder coating is more durable, withstands higher temps, etc. But whatever. I would also suggest to clear over the Brembo decals.
I do like the color. Reminds me of the hybrid Porsches.
To be completely honest, I think it is OK but not great. I don't like the wheels at all, and I'm not in love with the color of the wrap. That is only my opinion, however, and I know a lot of people will love it.
Love the front on pic, nice colour there. I'd like to wrap mine, but don't know if I wanna spend the extra $$$
Can't wait till the mustangs arrive in Australia, always loved the pony car, gonna be awesome once they are factory built RHD. Definitely a car for the other half that I can enjoy. Dunno if they will match our Aussie built Ford straight 6 Turbo's though, but I'm sure with the U.S and Australian local tuning shops and aftermarket segment some absolute weapons will be built.
Now that Australian local Ford and Holden built Factories are closing, the government should ditch the Luxury car tax. It's justification for being implemented was to discourage imports, and support/provide funding for local made Ford's, Holden etc. My next vote for government will go towards the first party to abolish that ludicrous tax.
