Yep. I used the fishing line method and went between the emblem and the tape and flossed them off. Took about 30 minutes to do the hood, both sides, and clean off any remaining residue.

If you YouTube fishing line emblem removal there should be a lot of how tos but it's pretty simple. Less likely to damage the paint than using an old credit card or plastic putty knife. IMHO

Looks sweet. Post more pics from side too. Did you take the GC badges off too? Don't know if I should do it.

I just removed the Jeep emblem off the bonnet, used credit card method, I think I butchered it. Small dent, and looks scratched up. black shows everything.

Re: What did you do to your WK2 SRT today?

Took the hood emblem off today with fishing line. Peeled off remaining residue and touched up with wax. Pretty easy. Took about 10 minutes. Will do the doors this week

Gonna go with the chrome to match the tailgate badge, but I'll wait until I get the car ceramic coated, and clear wrapped before I stick it on, booked in later this month for that. Can't wait to get some photos when It's all cleaned up.

Nice. I'm debating on if I want to get mine clear wrapped or not.
