Re: What did you do to your WK2 SRT today?

took a photo of it next to my old Rubicon that I am still driving while I await delivery of winter tires/wheels that should arrive soon.

It's like having a chocolate cake on the counter and you're told you can't have any.

That white looks so good in the snow. I can't wait to hit the mountains in a few weeks.

I have a few more photos near the bottom of this post -

Delivery of Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT

of the other day when it was dry, and I parked the Rubi beside the SRT. Definite size difference but the Rubi has a 8 arm 3" Teraflex lift on it with 35" snow tires.. so that might be why.

In this photo with snow, they're staggered due to the way the srt was parked, if I'd have backed up the same spot I'd have been in the finance dept's office with my read and I have to believe they'd have objected.

Then again.. Jeep.. so maybe not

that will be my weekend project :-)

Re: What did you do to your WK2 SRT today?

For the side debadging I used a 'travel card' (one of my old delta cards) as no raised letters to worry about... and a combo of bug/tar remover soap and WD-40... sprayed that on let it sit for 10 min or so... then heated up with the hairdryer and the letters popped off in seconds... then went back and used the soap rag to get the adhesive off and then washed it down. Took 10 minutes on each side...

It is important to let the heat and solvent do the job and not force it

For the hood - I let the shop handle it when they blacked out the grill

Still would like a black chrome Jeep in the rear center...
