Re: What did you do to your WK2 SRT today?

29 degrees and I had to go wash her so I could put the Mopar emblems on the sides that came in today. Same part number as it came with on the rear hatch.
My photos bite. Dark cell phone pics.

I really would like this one below on the rear under the srt emblem but it's black and isnt 6.4 so wife don't like it.
Doesn't both me it's black and the others r chrome.... can't win em all.

I ordered those a week or two back for my white beast as well! I'm doing the exact same thing!

Re: What did you do to your WK2 SRT today?

I called sirius, shut off my select lifetime plan on the Commander we traded on the Srt. Went ahead and upgraded to premium lifetime on the Srt.

I would have been smart to remove the Commander and come back in a year and upgrade but I didnt want the lifetime select plan sitting without service so I wasted my
trail period.
75 to transfer to the new radio.
100 to upgrade to lifetime premium.
Lifetime all access is not available.
Premium is the same channel line up as all access but I do not get access via smart phone. Only from the radio assigned and logging into their website, which I never do.

Re: What did you do to your WK2 SRT today?

I used blue masking tape from the center crease in the door then three width strips from the front edge of the door to the foam around the Mopar emblems.

Removing the oem GC logo, some use dental floss cutting the two sided tape underneath the emblems pulling away from the paint against the old emblem. A gentle sawing motion helps. I used fishing line. After the two sided tape is cut with the nylon line and the emblems are removed, the rest of the two sided tape pulled right off with my fingers. Mine is right out of the show room. The longer the two sided tape is on the paint the more difficult it will be to remove. A damp microfiber cloth brought my paint under the original emblem back to original. A good car wax will gently remove any left over residue from the two sided tape if needed. I am sure others have a number of ways to do it but this is simple and won't harm the paint.

I used a small flat head screw driver the really small ones for eye glasses. Was able to fit right under the jeep logo at the edge of a corner n peel it off.
